【Biography】

Professor Tao Yu received his B.S. degree from Jilin University and Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. After completing his Ph.D., he conducted postdoctoral research at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), McGill University, and Stanford University. He is now a full professor in School of Instrumentation and Opto-electronic Engineering, Beihang University. His research focuses on laser spectroscopy and optical computational imaging, with an emphasis on developing quantitative diagnostics for species concentrations and temperature under extreme conditions. He has authored over 20 papers in leading journals such as Optics Letters, Combustion and Flame, Aerospace Science and Technology.
