Zhiwei LIU

Biography

Zhiwei Liu received the Ph.D. degree in circuits and systems from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2021. After that, from 2021 to 2025, he worked at Zhejiang Lab, Hangzhou, China, as an associate research fellow. He is currently an associate professor in Sustainable Photonics Research Center with Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. He has been granted by NSFC-Youth program, NSFC-General program and Zhejiang Provincial NSF-Exploring program as principal investigator, for his research on laser spectroscopy, frequency comb spectroscopy, optical fiber sensing technologies, and more specifically their applications in trace gas detection. He has authored over 20 academic articles in peer-reviewed journals including Analytical Chemistry, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Optics Express, etc.
